[after apt-get update-distro on 26/11 don't know if earlier too]every time the system boot up i have to set manually the volume and in the music menu (where appear the start, skip Fw/bw, Vol UP/DN etc. buttons) the Volume bar has disappeared.

Volume bar has been removed from icepanel because it didn't work in common screen resolutions 800x600 or smaller.
Do you have to set the volume in pulseaudio or just nghost's volume (or both)?

volume bar is back in LinuxICE 2.0.1 and the default volume is fixed.
